I am posting this issue not to confirm the problem but to find out what the
workaround is, i.e. how others are getting around.
A minor upgrade is just not possible, this has been confirmed with IS
support and can be find in an earlier posting. Minor upgrade = only changing
the product version & package code. Currently all our upgrades are treated
as major upgrades, you can guess what my users think of this.
It appears as if Dev 7 simple ignores the REINSTALLMODE="voums" &
REINSTALL="ALL" command. The log displays the message "Another version of
this product is already installed."
What is the work around?
