Use a TextInputComponent on your custom wizard panel, rather than TextInputField. The TextInputField class is reserved for use on the GenericUserInputPanel, which is a bean that you an add to your project and modify in the IDE. Make sure that you call TextInputComponent.createComponentUI() in the createUI() method of your custom wizard panel.
To create a password field, use a java.awt.TextField on your custom panel, and call setEchoChar() to set the character that is echoed to the screen when the user types in the field.

Thanks. But what I need is based on text:a text_based installation. Thus, I can't use createUI in my custom bean.At the same time,it seems that jdk doesn't support receive a charater from command line and echo "*",such function. Some docuemnt introduce to implement it with JNI.I think it is not a good solution in installation.
