Error 401 During SQL Links Installation Problem

We are installing BDE 4.0 and SQL Links via Installshield Express for
Delphi that comes with Delphi 3.0. We spawn Express by IS3 which is
our principal installation package.

When the SQL Links files start loading, we get an error 401: String
Variable not long enough. If we build an install that does not
include SQL Links, the problem does not occur. This does not
happen on all machines, but always occurs on the machines it does
happen on.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this or how
we can get rid of it??

I wouldn't have the slightlest clue why that error occurs. I've had it
happen before in Delphi 2.0 installations.

Usually I would then recommend that you check out what SQL Links files are
included in the setup and then make sure that the setup is a 32-bit setup,
not a 16-bit one.
