Install CAB file thru Desktop application(Any solution)

Dear all:

Do we have any option or tool availability for Host Set up installation.

Description:

I have created one CAB File for Pocket PC.and i am tranferring this cab file to Pocket Pc Device thru Active sync. Later i am installing the CAB file at Device.

Now i want to install the CAB file from my PC (Desktop) itself. (Instead of clicking at device for installation). I want to click this setup (CAB) file at my PC only and make installed at target Device(Pocket PC).

Do we have any program or tool or interface application for this solution?
Can we impement this at InstallSheild wizard itself?

Pls let me know at the earliest. I am in need of solution.

Try out the Express Project or Compact Project for the software packing. Then choose the mobile device and add all your required files into it. Run the application from PC and your software will be installed into your device via Active Sync without involving any CAB files. Btw, CAB files are not recognizable in PC.

Yes, if you use the Mobile Devices view of either an InstallShield or InstallShield Express project I believe you'll have what you need. You can either create a new cab file or point to your existing cab file. This will create an MSI install that will install to your Mobile Devices view versus having to manually click on the cab file.
