Location of projects folder.

This isn't related to any particular type of project but since they don't provide a general InstallShield discusion forum, this one will have to do...

After installing InstallShield 11, I noted that it created the projects folder on drive C: and I'd rather have on D:, so I tried this: Copied the projects folder (and all sub folders) from C: to D: Ran InstallShield and in the options changed all references to the project folder on C: to the one on D:, then exited InstallShield Deleted the project folder from C: When I ran InstallShield again, it re-created the project folder on C:Anyone know how to set InstallShield to have the project folder on a drive other than where the installer put it?

InstallShield/Macrovision: You should REALLY have your install allow the user to choose where he wants the projects folder! Not everyone is going to agree with where your installer thinks it should be!

You should also consider adding a forum category for discustions that aren't related to a specific project type.

In your IS IDE, go to the "Tools->Options" menu item and click on the "General" tab. There should be a setting for "Default Project Location." Change that to your desired default project folder.

You should also consider adding a forum category for discustions that aren't related to a specific project type.

I disagree... there are waaay too many forums here already. Adding more will increase the possibility that your question never gets seen, a huge reason why nobody responded to this until now. I just upgraded to 11 and finally started perusing the IS 11 forum.
