%1 is not a Valid win32 Application

Hello,
I am not a developer, just an end user, i am getting some errors from some EXE files which are i think made by Install Shield. When i try to install some Applications i receive the following error Message:

Setup failed to launch installation engine:
%1 is not a valid Win32 application
----------------


I have latest Panda Antivirus installed and my system has XP Service Pack2 installed. Any idea how to solve it ??
Many other installation packages are working fine, but some are not. I tried to install them from the backup CD, but no use. :(

As an end user, the first place to start is with the provider of the software that is failing to install. Now, being in software for awhile, this will none-the-less lead you back here when the provider most likely blames InstallShield, even though they wrote the installer themselves. So, in the meantime you may want to check out http://consumer.installshield.com/

Thank you for your response. I went to the following URL:

And installed the latest IKernel Update and it works! :D
