Hi,
I am using Installshield Express Borland Limited Edition 3.5 - SP4.
The drag-drop function of registry items/values does not work, and any previous saved entries are not shown.
Anybody please help.
Thank you.

I also have this problem. I finally got around to upgrading from 3.53 (Not the borland edition mentioned in the parent post) to SP4.
I can no longer edit or add registry settings in exisiting or new projects.
I'd prefer not to revert to 3.53, since SP4 does fix some issues I've recently run into.
cheers

Cannot see registry entries in old projects, or create them in old or new projects. Destination Computer view is blank except for a line saying "My Computer" and dragging from Source Computer's Registry view above doesn't work. It won't accept drop to the target area.
This is a major problem for me. If anybody has any suggestion for how to make it work it would be greatly appreciated.

I am also using Installshield Express Borland Limited Edition 3.5 - SP4 (delivered with Delphi 7).
I have exactly the same problems with Windows XP SP2 on several machines (for test).
All goes right under Windows 2000.

People might be interested in a workaround for this problem:
Under "Features" under "Organize your Setup" it is possible to specify a REG file to merge at build time. This lets you maintain your registry keys in an external file.
The main hassle, is that for exisiting projects you must first remove registry keys included using the normal drag/drop method, otherwise there are complaints of duplicate registry entries. So you still need access to a machine not running XPSP2.
A fix from InstallShield would be useful.

I just want to add my voice to this problem, just migrated my 3.54 installation from a Win2K box to a WinXP SP2 one and am unable to build any releases!
Is there any official response to this problem yet?

I registered with Macrovision and posted this problem but since I don't have a maintence plan they want me to pay a $100 for them to look at it!!.
You would think they would have a fix for this by now SP2 has been out awhile already.
