View Full Version : Windows JVM isn't bundling

I'm making a installer for Mac & WinXP of an HTML application which runs in the local internet browser. In my project, in JVM Resolution, under 'Bundle JVM', I've specified the UI supplied Windows-Sun-1.3.1_06.exe (following the help instructions). However, after building the distribution CD this exe isn't in the CD image & when I run the setupwin32.exe it asks me to locate the java.exe on the target machine. What am I doing wrong? How do I get the UI builder to put the UI JVM that my installer needs onto the distribution CD?

The Windows JVM is now bundling as I want it to but I've no idea why. The setupwin32.exe is now 7MB instead of a few hundred KB. What I have started doing is an explicit Save All prior to any build, just in case. I would be so bizarre if Build did not have an implicit Save Project or that Save Project didn't save all the project but Save All Projects did.

I face the same problem but I get an answer now.
In Installation Designer tab, under the JVM Resolution view, specify all the detail. Go to Releases view. In Explorer, you can see there is a Build button. If I build using that button, I can have my desired JVM included with my build.
I test the build in a machine with Java and the installer successfully run fine.
Be sure do not go back to Project Assistant to build or else you will lose your setting in JVM Resolution.
