shortcut to exe on server?

All my executables reside on a central server and as such are not included in the setup.
In a previous version of Express, I was able to create a shortcut to an external executable and give it an icon.
I've fogotten how to do this. Can someone remind me please.

Thanks. I actually figured it out:

->New Shortcut to Preexisting file
->click on Destination Computer
->enter the path to the file.
