Because InstallExpress 3.0 creates an ism file that is binary (not text) I am unable to edit this file without opening the IDE and making changes.
Is there anyway to edit the paths to the file in the file groups without opening the IDE?
When I release a product, the file paths should no longer point to a 'current' path, but to a 'frozen' path.
For example, \\server\product\version\icon.ico should now point to \\server\product\new_version\icon.ico.
Is there a way to do this? A utility to edit this file from the command line?
Thanks,
Dave
