Unresolved "displayName" string written to vpd.properties

I'm working on a ISMP V5 setup for a Linux-only product, created within IS X Universal (IDE running on Linux as well). I am using an x.properties file for localized resource strings. The strings (specifically Product and Feature "Display Names") are displayed properly in the GUI during install, but show up in unresolved form ($L(pkg.name, stringID) in the IDE as well as in vpd.properties. In VPD, the display name gets written in the field immediately following the first "1=..." field.

Is this a bug or a config issue?

This is an issue with InstallShield ISMP and ISX, not a configuration problem with your project. This should not affect the installation, or any type of patch/update in any way.
