Re-sort Start->Programs Menu

Does anyone know how to programmatically resort the Start->Programs Menu ?

Doesn't it always go in alphabetic order?

Usually, but if you install apps it doesn't resort. They get placed at the bottom of the menu. I seem to remember an issue that can be corrected in the registry for the programs menu.

Oh right I've seen that on XP but it refreshed and resorted after a little bit for me.
