I am working on Developer 7.0 with service pack 4.
During uninstallation, system crashes with the IDriver exception and i have to restart the system.
I am facing this problem in windows ME.
During release build , i am building with windows installer version 2.0.
What could be the reason to get this IDriver Exeception.
Is there any solution for this.
thanks

You would first want to isolate the behaviour a little further. Log the uninstallation by calling the setup.exe from the command line, include the logging parameters, and select uninstall.

Also, if there is an error code associated, either in the log or in a message displayed and visible, search for it in both the Help Library and the InstallShield Knowledge Base

If you see a long number with a negative sign (-) in front of it, this number might be translated with the use of the FormatMessage function, Q105739.
