I have recently heard that some incorrect information has been passed around in regards to our support for the latest Crystal Reports 9 Merge Module.

Both InstallShield Developer 7.x, and 8.x fully support this Merge Module. For details, please see the following Knowledge Base article:

Dear Joshua
I try to use InstallShield Developer 8 (Demo version).
I create new project, import VisualBasic 6.0, add merge modules reportengine.msm, rdcruntime.msm, license.msm (as discribed in your reference Q106852). I install setup in Windows 98. When I try to view report or to print or to export - message appies:
-Logon failed
-error details:0x800401f3
If I try to work in report that has't databases(text only) - all work properly.
What are missing?
